Space Services started as a TikTok channel (@spaceservices.org): short, cinematic space visuals made to feel calm instead of loud. No hooks shouted over music, no countdown lists. Just the cosmos, slowed down.

It resonated. The channel grew to 416.7K followers, 2 million likes, and over 100 million views. The comments were the best part: people said the videos helped them breathe, focus, and feel small in the good way.

But short-form has a ceiling. A 60-second clip can show you a nebula; it cannot teach you how one forms. The questions in the comments kept outgrowing the format.

So the energy moved here, and the telescope turned inward. We spent years compressing the universe into 30-second explanations; now we study compression itself: how meaning survives its passage through a neural network, what attention routes, what features encode, and what gets lost.

Space Services makes the inside of language models legible, with interactive explanations and instruments that run on a real model in your browser. The wonder is the same. The depth is new.
